LOVE being entertained while spoon fed a heavy book there's no time to read myself. How did those hippies organize without the internet, and why did so many sell out? I lived in the most dirt loving hippie commune that stayed afloat by a similar non-profit type of arrangement. Lib's have the same privilege to do this if they choose, so why don't they? OK you may regret asking, but I want to see more sex. Er- I mean more bipartisanship and unions and stuff, what good things can we learn from conservatives, how do these ideas connect to stuff that is at the working class level and how do personal activities enable or constructively improve working class problems.

I aspire to be as wild as this comment Crash! Thanks for the props on distilling a great book into entertaining chunks. That's the goal around this dump. To your point about organizing without interent, it worked then and it would work now. Old fashioned face to face offline organizing by a mass movement of working-class people (of all political backgrounds) is our ace in the hole. The sooner we get back to it, the better IMHO. That said, I think on the ground organizing needs air-support through new media that is currently lacking on the working class side of things. And on learning from conservatives, yeah. We should. They were out of power in the house for 40 years. Things weren't going their way. Did they change themselves to fit the polling of the time? No. They changed the polls. And that's what the left should do.

Something to chew on. The content you create is so grounding and nutritious. It has seriously helped me get past my fear and overwhelm of politics and back into some semblance of empowerment. That and some good laughs to help the medicine go down!

is there a reason people are afraid of having a liberal bias but not a conservative one?

My take on this is that there are liberal and conservative values in everyone and the right has been much better organized, funded, and efficient about calling those values forth and cementing them as universal in the voting public over 50 years. I'll be adding to a TikTok playlist about this effort.
